GETTING STARTED

PREPARATION & APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

The cause of most coating failures is poor surface preparation.

Degrease and Clean: The surface must be thoroughly washed using a high-pressure system with a suitable degreaser and detergent, then scrubbed.
Remove Debris: Ensure all loose flaking particles, rust, grease, and oils are completely removed.
Ensure Surface is Dry: Allow the surface to dry completely before applying the primer. Be patient, as this could take a few sunny days.
Final Dusting: Remove all loose dust and debris just before application.

Application Instructions

Mixing: Stir the contents thoroughly before use. Do not dilute.
Application: Apply with a brush, roller, or airless spray system.
Drying Time: Allow 1-2 hours for the primer to cure before applying a topcoat.
Weather Conditions: Do not apply if rain is imminent or if the surface is hot to the touch.
Optimal Temperature: The ideal application temperature is 25°C. Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C.
