SOLAR HEAT REFLECTIVE COATING
ThermoSeal is a specially formulated copolymer emulsion. A coating incorporating ceramic hollow-core spheres that is UV stable. Designed for application to metal roofs to reflect infrared rays and reduce the conductive energy to the metal. It works by targeting the invisible infrared portion of the sun’s radiation which means coated surfaces stay cooler and last longer than a coating that absorbs it. The ThermoSeal roof coating system offers superior mildew resistance, anti-bacterial, sound dampening, infrared heat resistance, UV ray reflectivity and corrosion resistance.
Thermoseal forms an elastomeric heat reflective barrier coating, reflecting up to 96% infrared rays, resisting UV and would have less than 30% absorption of energy. Furthermore, Thermoseal has conductive energy reduction properties and will resist the transfer of heat in metals up to 25%. Thermoseal will reduce internal temp up to 10 degrees celsius dependent on the substrate treated. Temperature reduction varies with environmental and application factors.
