STRIP & REPAIR - All existing tiles and tile adhesive stripped back to the bare screed — or a fresh screed on a new build. The surface must be clean, dry and structurally sound before waterproofing begins.
REPAIR & LEVEL - All damaged screed, cracks and uneven areas filled and levelled — creating a sound, even substrate for the waterproofing system above.
BIND & PRIME - Applied to the entire screed surface — binds any remaining dust, stabilises the substrate and maximises adhesion for all waterproofing layers above. On a porous screed, Penetrar keeps the polymer content of the waterproofing layers in the top layer where it performs best.
REINFORCE - Fibreglass reinforcing mesh rolled out and shaped to fit the full surface — absorbs screed movement and bridges any residual cracks. The structural backbone of the waterproof membrane.
BOND MESH TO SCREED - Applied over the mesh and pressed firmly through to bond it permanently to the Penetrar-primed screed below — locking the reinforcing layer in place before the waterproof membrane is applied above.
REINFORCE CORNERS & TURNUPS - All wall turnups and internal corners reinforced — Flex applied, StretchSeal Membrane embedded, second Flex coat to encapsulate. Flexible and movement-tolerant at every wall-to-floor junction.
WATERPROOF FIRST COAT - First coat of seamless liquid rubber membrane applied across the entire system once touch dry and walkable.
WATERPROOF FINAL COAT - Final coat applied once the first coat is completely dry — completing the seamless, fully bonded waterproof membrane.
TILE-READY TOPCOAT - Applied over the fully cured HydroSeal HF — creates the cementitious bonding surface tiles adhere to directly with standard tile adhesive. No additional primer required.
TILE - Tiles installed directly onto the cured UltraBond WP surface with standard tile adhesive. The waterproofing is fully in place before a single tile is laid.
