Flex is a specially formulated crosslinking co-polymer emulsion with extreme elasticity making it highly flexible and recommended to be used to accommodate extreme movement in most structures and substrates. FLEX has good mechanical properties, it is colourfast and UV stable. The design of the coating lends itself to the sealing of more than one substrate consisting of different materials e.g. metal to plaster.

Usage

FLEX can be used as an elastomeric wall & roof coating, membrane applications & continuous underwater immersion.

Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates consisting of different materials e.g. metal to plaster.

FLEX has a good balance of elongation & tensile strength over a wide temperature range.

Elongation and recovery properties of FLEX allow it to bridge dimensionally unstable cracks without rupturing. Important to note though is that the film thickness is vital and will be achieved by applying multiple layers. As Flex will crosslink between layers it will become homogenous increasing elongation over wider cracks.

HOW IT WORKS

EXCELLENT ADHESION & ELONGATION

Flex is a co-polymer waterproofing liquid coating, with excellent hydrophobic characteristics, which means it has superior water resistance and moisture vapour transmission rate. Flex can crosslink between layers and become homogenous with good adhesion to common substrates, including concrete, galvanized steel, aluminium and wood. It is also extremely elastic with good mechanical properties making it highly flexible and recommended to be used to accommodate extreme movement in most structures and substrates. The coating is colourfast and UV stable.

Flex being a highly flexible product might cause tackiness in higher temperatures, therefore it is recommended to always be overcoated with one of SealPro’s Waterproofing or paint products such as HydroSeal or Renew. The product has less than 8% water uptake over 14 days.

Brush, roller or airless spray. Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Re-coat after 6-12 hours
