The ArmTec HyperFlex New Roof Slab System is a fully bonded, seamless, reinforced waterproofing system for new and existing flat concrete roof slabs. It prepares and seals the substrate from the ground up — binding the slab with Penetrar, reinforcing settlement cracks with the StretchSeal Flex system, embedding the ArmTec mesh with HyperFlex, strengthening all parapet wall turnups, and finishing with two coats of HydroSeal HF as the final seamless liquid rubber waterproof membrane.

Reinforce Cracks - All settlement cracks and movement joints are bridged with a flexible, reinforced membrane.

Reinforce - Coated fibreglass mesh rolled out over the full slab to absorb movement and distribute stress.

Embed - Applied over the mesh and pressed through to bond it permanently to the slab.

Reinforce Corners - Parapet turnups are flashed and fully encapsulated with StretchSeal membrane embedded in HydroSeal HF.

Waterproof — Final Topcoat - First coat applied once the system is touch dry and walkable across the entire slab. Final coat applied once the first is completely dry — completing the seamless liquid rubber membrane.

A FULLY BONDED, SEAMLESS WATERPROOF MEMBRANE — FROM SLAB TO SURFACE.

The ArmTec HyperFlex New Roof Slab System builds a waterproof membrane layer by layer — starting at the concrete substrate and finishing with a seamless liquid rubber topcoat. Every detail is addressed: cracks are reinforced before the mesh goes down, and corners are fully encapsulated before the final coat goes on. The result is a fully bonded system with no joints, no overlaps and no weak points.

The ArmTec HyperFlex New Roof Slab System is used across a wide range of residential and commercial projects — from new-build flat roofs to existing slabs where the waterproofing has failed. Because it is a fully bonded system with no joints or overlaps, it performs consistently on large and small slabs alike — and the finished surface can be left as a coloured waterproof coating, extended to tile-ready with UltraBond WP, or hardened for foot traffic with Clear Coat P2UD.

New Concrete Roof Slab — Residential Home

A newly built residential home in Pretoria East required a long-term waterproofing solution on a newly poured flat concrete roof slab. The slab was primed with Penetrar, settlement cracks were reinforced with the StretchSeal Flex system, and the ArmTec HyperFlex system was installed to deliver a fully bonded waterproof membrane. HydroSeal HF was applied in two topcoats in Charcoal to match the architectural finish of the building.

A commercial office building in Midrand required waterproofing on a large flat concrete roof slab with multiple parapet walls and drainage outlets. The ArmTec HyperFlex New Roof Slab system was installed across the full roof — all parapet turnups were treated with 45° corner flashings and StretchSeal membrane embedded with HydroSeal HF, and the full system was finished with HydroSeal HF in Cool Grey.

A sectional title townhouse complex in Centurion had multiple units reporting water ingress through a flat concrete roof slab. The existing surface was failing with visible settlement cracking. The slab was cleaned, Penetrar applied, all cracks reinforced with the StretchSeal Flex system, and the full ArmTec HyperFlex system installed over the entire roof — permanently sealing the slab and eliminating water ingress across the complex.

Renew or maintain your current waterproofing system without removing it. The Armtec Renew system has excellent adhesion and can be applied directly over existing waterproofing systems.
