The surface must be clean, dry and structurally sound before the system is installed. All loose material, debris and failed waterproofing removed.
The correct primer depends on the substrate.
Penetrar is applied on concrete slabs, screed and tile roof surfaces — it penetrates and binds the substrate, promotes adhesion and ensures the polymer content of the layers above stays in the top layer where it performs best.
UltraBond WP is applied on existing tiles, bitumen, torch-on and any previously sealed or non-porous surface — it creates a cementitious bonding layer with extreme adhesion and seals the substrate to prevent off-gassing that would cause system failure.
The coated fibreglass reinforcing mesh is the structural backbone of the system. Rolled out and shaped to fit the entire surface being waterproofed — absorbing substrate movement, bridging cracks and improving performance under foot traffic. The mesh requires HyperFlex to embed it to the substrate.
Applied in one coat directly over the mesh and pressed down to penetrate completely through and bond permanently to the primed surface below. HyperFlex locks the mesh to the substrate — it is the structural binder that integrates the reinforcing layer into the system.
Two coats of HydroSeal HF applied over the entire system as the final seamless liquid rubber waterproof membrane. UV stable, weather resistant and fully bonded to the substrate. First coat applied once touch dry and walkable. Final topcoat applied once the first coat is completely dry.
